the landlord changing the lock will be considered self help and is illegal in all states, the landlord must go threw the eviction process and only a court order can force you to move out

if you have little or no cash it will be hard to find help, best bet try the local law schools to see if the have programs where third year law students under the direction of a law professor help people in need like you

Hi,

I do a lot of research into mesothelioma, and run a website that is dedicated to providing up to date information concerning asbestos and its harmful effects on health.

The largest percentage of mesothelioma patients have developed it as a result of being exposed asbestos over a long period of time. I.e. during their employment, or someone who has had to wash their spouses clothing over many years, unwittingly not realizing that the clothing is contaminated with asbestos fibers.

The majority of people that will be diagnosed with mesothelioma within the next 20 year period, are those who have been heavily exposed to asbestos - 20-40 years previously, prior to when asbestos was banned. Therefore after 2020, there will be fewer people diagnosed with the disease.

People who are still at risk from developing mesothelioma are those who are unwittingly are doing a job where asbestos still remains. I.e. In old buildings. For instance - the plumber may constantly work on asbestos covered pipes etc, and may cut into the asbestos or tear off the asbestos, releasing the deadly fibers into the air and inhaling them.

Asbestos is only dangerous when it is friable (crumbly) or when it is disturbed. I.e. cut, sawn, drilled or sanded, etc.

It would be highly unlikely that you could develop mesothelioma after a short exposure to asbestos, but cutting out the risk completely would be the best option to take.

I recently read a story about one man who developed mesothelioma as a result of scraping moss off his asbestos garage roof for many years. He did not realize that it was asbestos or that - every time he scrapped the roof - he released the fibers and inhaled them.

Thank you highlighting mesothelioma,

Kind regards,

Ann

More interesting info on my website . . .
